Happy 5th Birthday to us!

Introducing... 2K streaming!

And week-long rental options!

Starting with Loch Ness Productions own shows, we're trying out our highest-ever streaming resolution: 2160x2160px fisheye movies! This doubles the 1080p size of our regular HD movies. (Our prewarped movies are already "2K": 1920px wide by 1080px high).

So if you have the bandwidth available, and projection equipment that can take advantage of the new movie sizes, please try them out and let us know how they look on your dome. Even if your projector isn't fully 2K-capable, downscaling a 2K movie should look nicer than upscaling a 1K movie. The enhanced resolution does have a higher price, but as always, trailers are FREE to play.

In addition to our standard 3-day rental periods, we're now offering 7-day rentals for the new 2K movies.

We've also refreshed some pages, and updated our FAQs.

Thanks for sharing the news with your colleagues — and thanks for five great years! Here's to the next five!

Neurodome

Where in the mind does the spark of curiosity begin?

Journey from the outer limits of the universe down to Earth and into the brain to explore the "inner" frontier of human knowledge! In this fulldome show, produced through a collaboration of scientists, doctors, animators, and planetarium specialists, real brain images come alive as neuroimaging technology becomes your observatory to discover what makes us human.

The audience will explore imagery on scales ranging from the size of the entire head down to the sub-cellular scale, millions of times smaller. The film takes audiences flying through the skull to the outer layers of the cerebral cortex, exploring sub-components of the brain, wandering through neurons, and much more.

Throughout the journey, audiences will get an unprecedented view of our place in the universe, and in turn, where the universe is represented in our brain. For most people, the tour will be their first immersive trip through a real human brain... a truly mind-blowing experience!

Also available in flag Spanish.
